A roll-on-roll-off ship for heavy-duty automobiles at inland river and reservoir areas comprises a hull and a multi-layer deck. The underwater molded line of the head of the hull is a U-shaped head with the high block coefficient being greater than 0.75, the tail of the hull is a double-ball tail, and the head and the tail are in streamline-curved surface transition; the multi-layer deck comprises a main deck and an upper deck; the main deck is an automobile-bearing deck; the upper deck is arranged above the main deck; the space between the main deck and the upper deck is center-through; the main deck supports the upper deck through a long-span beam structure supported by transition side walls; one end of the main deck is provided with springboards; a passenger cabin and a cab are arranged on the upper deck; the structure strength of the truck-bearing deck is designed to be capable of bearing uniaxial loads being greater than 14tons and a single three-axis automobile with the total weight being greater than 45tons. The center-through main deck is adopted, the passenger cabin deck is arranged above the upper deck, the structure strength is designed be capable of bearing uniaxial loads being greater than 14tons and the single three-axis automobile with the weight being greater than 45tons, so that the roll-on-roll-off ship is suitable for transporting large-tonnage automobiles and passengers at the inland river, branches and reservoir areas. The roll-on-roll-off ship has the advantage that the automobiles and passengers (including the driver and conductor) can be synchronously transported.
