The invention provides a vehicle energy conservation acceleration way optimization method based on a pseudo-spectral method, and belongs to the technical field of automobile driving assistance systems. The method comprises the steps that an integral optimal control model formed by an objective function and a plurality of constraint conditions are established, the integral optimal control model is transformed into multisection smooth model: a Legendre pseudo-spectral method is adopted to solve the multisection smooth model to obtain an optimized acceleration way. The method can be served as a driving assistance algorithm for providing an elevated energy conservation acceleration way for a gears discrete distribution automobile. By the adoption of a simulating calculation, under a certain conditions, compared with an adoption of a way of a constant accelerated speed, the optimized acceleration way of the vehicle energy conservation acceleration way optimization method based on the pseudo-spectral method can save 24.76% of oil, and has very strong oil-saving ability.
