Results of metallurgical, mechanical and physical property determinations, and weldability studies of new Cb-752 alloy, containing 10% tungsten and 2.5% zirconium, show that it is suitable for aerospace applications, particularly above 2000 F; alloy is produced on quantity basis from raw material powders by electron-beam melting, consumable-electrode arc-melting, extrusion, and cold rolling.
