New Indian locomotives of "Y.C." class recently built for passenger service on meter gage Eastern Bengal Ry. and Bengal North Western Ry.; cylinders, 17 1/2 in. by 24 in.; coupled wheels 4 ft. 9 in.; working pressure of 180 lb. per sq. in.; tractive force at 85 per cent boiler pressure estimated at 19,729 lb.; total engine and tender wheelbase 51 ft. 8 in.; total engine and tender weight in working order, 91.17 tons.
